A shocking attempted kidnapping incident recently unfolded on the streets of Paris, with the victims being the daughter and young grandchild of Pierre Noizat, the CEO of Paymium, a prominent French cryptocurrency exchange. A group of masked assailants jumped out of a white van and attempted to force a woman and child into the vehicle. The woman’s husband was also present and was beaten by the assailants while trying to protect his family. Footage from the scene shows the woman screaming and struggling against her attackers, even managing to wrestle a weapon from one of them and throw it onto the street. It was later confirmed that the weapon was a replica air gun. Ultimately, a bystander used a fire extinguisher to disrupt the assailants, successfully driving them away. Three of the assailants then returned to the vehicle, which was driven away by a fourth accomplice.
Although the French authorities have not yet released the identities of the victimized family, several media outlets have cited police and insider sources indicating that the victims are the daughter and family of a co-founder of Paymium. Paymium is a well-known cryptocurrency trading platform in France, headquartered in Paris, and is dedicated to promoting cryptocurrency trading and compliance in Europe.
