ETHTaipei 2025 is Coming Soon!
The highly anticipated ETHTaipei 2025 will take place on April 1-2 at the POPOP Taipei (Nangang Bottle Cap Factory) in Taipei. This year’s event not only continues the in-depth technical agenda from previous editions, but also introduces a music stage, live painting, and a traditional Taiwanese “Ban Zuo” banquet with local flavors, allowing participants to enjoy a unique Taiwanese experience at the intersection of technology and culture.
Ethereum Foundation’s New Co-Executive Director to Join Vitalik on Stage
The major panel at ETHTaipei 2025 will be hosted by Hsiao-Wei Wang, the newly appointed Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation and a Taiwanese blockchain expert, alongside Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and spokesperson Joseph Schweitzer. The panel will focus on technological breakthroughs and industry trends. Hsiao-Wei Wang commented: “Taiwan and the Asian community will be the core of my future work. I look forward to strengthening Ethereum’s technological ecosystem in Asia through ETHTaipei.”
Other speakers come from internationally renowned teams including Uniswap (decentralized exchange), Polygon (Layer 2 scaling solution), WalletConnect (wallet connection protocol), ZKSync, Portus (famous for its mascot), Zircuit, Teahouse, imToken, RareSkills, AppWorks, and Zomma. These teams will cover important blockchain areas such as DeFi, scaling, wallets, and more, bringing the latest technologies and practical experiences to the attendees.
Beyond Technology: A Diverse Experience
In addition to the exciting agenda, ETHTaipei 2025 will offer a variety of experiences, allowing participants to interact and network in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere:
Music Stage:
The music stage, open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offers Open Jam sessions where participants can freely perform with electronic drums, keyboards, guitars, bass, and other instruments. From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Home Band will provide live instrument accompaniment, creating an interactive music experience.
Live Painting:
World-renowned live painter and manga artist SHINN UCHIDA (Instagram: @mangalivepaint) will perform live painting, blending art and technology to add visual and creative highlights to the event. SHINN UCHIDA made his debut in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump and his viral short videos have attracted invitations from anime conventions across 13 countries, including the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Traditional Banquet Closing Party:
The event will conclude with a traditional Taiwanese “Ban Zuo” banquet, held in front of the Dadaocheng Temple, as the Closing Party. Participants will experience authentic Taiwanese cuisine and culture in a banquet-style seating arrangement. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin is expected to attend and celebrate with the participants.
