Blockchain legislator Ge Ru-jun discusses the flow of money, Bitcoin spot ETFs, and cryptocurrency regulations.
Popular radio program “Dr. Bao’s Friends Speak” is hosted by Dr. Bao aka Ge Ru-jun, who has long been involved in the Web3 and blockchain industries. He has served as an adjunct assistant professor at National Taiwan University’s Institute of Internet Media and as an assistant professor at National Taipei University’s Department of Interaction Design. He has also worked as a growth consultant for the Dentsu Group’s Web3 division, continuously contributing to the development and promotion of the metaverse industry. In 2024, Dr. Bao added the title of “technology legislator” to his resume.
As a legislator, Dr. Bao continues to pay attention to the development of the blockchain industry, with one of his goals being to destigmatize the industry. After the “Secret Creative House” incident, the program “Block Trend” obtained the wallet addresses for the four “Secret Creative House” accounts by using the Internet Archive’s “Wayback Machine” with the website URLs. Dr. Bao then held a press conference to announce the total amount of funds received by these four wallets, demonstrating how the flow of money on the blockchain can be easily traced.
In the second episode of the “Money Flow Tracking” series, Dr. Bao was invited to discuss the flow of money, starting with money flow analysis and moving on to Bitcoin spot ETFs and cryptocurrency regulations, discussing the development of the blockchain industry. In this episode, Dr. Bao shared his thoughts on how the Taiwanese government views Bitcoin ETFs. He hopes that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can become familiar topics for the government, schools, and even law enforcement agencies, facilitating more discussions and leading to more comprehensive regulations.
The “Money Flow Tracking” series invites industry experts to analyze money flow tracking and share important knowledge about money and fund tracing, allowing the public to enhance their knowledge about money flow and fund flow and establish stronger defenses against illegal activities.
