Earn Bitcoin for Free by Tapping the Screen! This Mobile Game Makes it Possible

Since the beginning of this year, Bitcoin (BTC) has experienced a surge of over 70%, rising from around $42,000 to a high of $73,777. Despite recent corrections, many analysts and institutions still expect Bitcoin to continue its upward trend in the next year, with some predicting it could reach $100,000 or even $150,000.

In addition to investing, it is now possible to earn small amounts of Bitcoin by playing games. Recently, the cryptocurrency media outlet Decrypt discovered a mobile game where players can accumulate small amounts of Bitcoin simply by tapping the screen during their free time.

The game is called “Bitcoin Miners” and is developed by Fumb Games. It is currently available for download on the AppStore and Android stores. As the name suggests, the concept of the game is to mine various cryptocurrencies, such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu coin, and Solana, although these are virtual currencies that cannot be withdrawn. The only reward players can receive in this game is a small amount of “Satoshis” (the smallest unit of Bitcoin).

According to Decrypt journalist Andrew Hayward, Bitcoin Miners was released a few years ago but did not offer real cryptocurrency rewards. It was only recently that the game introduced the Bitcoin reward mechanism, resulting in a substantial increase in downloads.

How to Play Bitcoin Miners: Free Ways to Earn Bitcoin and Basic Gameplay

After downloading and testing the game, it was discovered that Bitcoin Miners offers two types of rewards: in-game currency (non-cryptocurrency) and Satoshis. The main gameplay involves continuously tapping the orange pickaxe at the bottom of the screen to earn in-game currency, which can be used to unlock new mining tokens like Shiba Inu coin and Solana, as well as upgrade mining equipment. The icons at the top of the game’s homepage represent in-game currency, node count, Satoshis, and virtual GPUs.

Occasionally, Satoshis icons appear in the game (as shown below), and players can earn Satoshis by tapping on them. If players want to withdraw the Satoshis they have earned, they can transfer them for free using the ZBD Bitcoin wallet, with a maximum daily transfer limit of 500 Satoshis.

Furthermore, while playing for a certain amount of time or when players want to upgrade equipment, functions, and mining efficiency, the game displays full-screen video ads. Like many similar games previously mentioned, this game clearly generates revenue through a large number of ads and rewards players with a small amount of Bitcoin.

Testing Results: How Much Can You Earn from Bitcoin Miners in 1 Hour?

According to Decrypt journalist Andrew Hayward, he earned 236 Satoshis after playing for 5 hours, which is an average of 47.2 Satoshis per hour. Based on the current value of 1 Bitcoin at $63,000, 47.2 Satoshis is approximately $0.029.

Therefore, one should not expect to make a fortune from this game, as the time spent may not be satisfactory compared to the earnings for most people. However, if you are already interested in idle casual games and also want to earn a small amount of Bitcoin, this mobile game may be somewhat enjoyable.

7 Tips to Earn More Coins in Bitcoin Miners

If you feel that you are earning too few coins while playing, Decrypt journalist Andrew Hayward shares 7 tips to slightly increase your earnings:

Tip 1: Complete Missions

Hayward states that this is the simplest and most stable way to earn rewards. The game’s homepage displays missions that include unlocking new mining tokens, clicking a certain number of items, and upgrading multiple mining devices. Each completed mission rewards players with nodes and a chance to earn 1 Satoshi. Players should prioritize completing these missions. When clicking on missions, the game usually provides guidance on how to complete them. Currently, Bitcoin Miners does not have a Chinese version, so if you come across missions you don’t understand, you can use translation tools to understand their meaning.

Tip 2: Look for “Satoshis” in the In-Game Store

Players can browse the in-game store and click on the “Satoshis” icon whenever it appears. Each icon will give you 3 Satoshis. These icons refresh every 4 hours, and each round can earn you a maximum of 15 Satoshis. If you play diligently, you can find up to 90 Satoshis in the store every day.

Tip 3: Daily Login Missions

Daily login rewards are common in mobile games, and as long as you remember to open the game every day, you can obtain these rewards. According to Decrypt’s investigation, you will receive several tens of Satoshis on the 3rd, 12th, and 18th consecutive days of logging in.

Tip 4: Tap on Special Icons

During gameplay, special icons appear above virtual tokens like Shiba Inu coin, Dogecoin, and Sandbox. Tapping on these icons will increase the amount of in-game currency or provide other benefits. If a Satoshis icon appears, be sure to tap on it, as this is one of the main ways to earn Satoshis.

Tip 5: Participate in Weekend Challenges

Hayward states that Bitcoin Miners regularly holds weekend challenges that reward players with Satoshis for reaching certain mining milestones. It is worth giving it a try.

Tip 6: Sell Mining Businesses

During the game, you can sell virtual mining machines and mining businesses at any time to earn a large amount of in-game currency and start mining again. However, the system will retain the income upgrades you have unlocked, as well as accumulated treasure chests and node upgrade functions. As a reward for restarting mining, players will receive a bunch of virtual GPUs, which can greatly increase income potential and help players complete certain missions to earn Satoshis.

Tip 7: Withdraw Regularly

Although the daily mining amount is not substantial, if you play Bitcoin Miners seriously, you may accumulate thousands of Satoshis in a month. Hayward suggests that players should develop a habit of withdrawing regularly. After registering a ZBD wallet in advance, you can click on the “Satoshis” icon at the top of the game’s homepage, click “Log in with ZBD,” and then click “Redeem” to transfer them for free to the ZBD wallet. You can then transfer the Satoshis to a self-hosted wallet according to your needs.

It should be noted that Bitcoin Miners has an in-app purchase system, which can enhance the gaming experience or remove all ads. However, it is recommended to experience the game for free without making any purchases, as the prices of these items are much higher than the value of Satoshis you can earn daily, making it not cost-effective.

[Disclaimer] This game is shared by the cryptocurrency media outlet Decrypt as a free channel to earn a small amount of Bitcoin and does not recommend in-app purchases. Users should consider whether any opinions, perspectives, or conclusions in this article are suitable for their specific circumstances. Any actions related to in-app purchases or investments are done at the user’s own risk.
